The Wonder School Programs
Toddler Program
(Ages 16 mo. - 2.9 yr.):
Our toddler program is designed to nurture the growth and development of our youngest learners. Through a caring and supportive environment, we focus on promoting early socialization, motor skills, and sensory exploration, providing a strong foundation for their educational journey.
At our school, we understand that children of this age may be at various stages of development. Our program provides a vibrant and dynamic learning environment filled with age-appropriate toys, fostering growth, development, and the joy of discovery at every level.
Our dedicated teachers for each age group curate daily activities that focus on promoting fine and gross motor skills, receptive and expressive language, positive peer and adult relationships, and intellectual curiosity. Our primary goal is to support each child's development comprehensively, encompassing all aspects of their being.
Pre-school Program
(Ages 2.9 - 4):
In our pre-school program, we foster a love for learning through engaging activities and play. We focus on language development, cognitive skills, and social interactions, preparing the children for a smooth transition to the next stage of their education.
As your child continues to grow, our pre-school curriculum evolves to cater to their changing needs. Our program is designed to facilitate learning and nurture independence, encouraging them to become lifelong learners. In the pre-school phase, we introduce a more detailed and structured program, outlining the daily routine with scheduled activities that promote learning in all domains.
Children will be exposed to early language, science, math, reading, and social studies concepts through independent exploration, hands-on activities, and whole group lessons. The curriculum incorporates diverse techniques, such as arts and crafts, music, cooking, dance, and more, making the learning experience enjoyable and engaging.
Pre-K Program
(Ages 4 - 5):
Our Pre-K program is designed to prepare children for the upcoming school years. We emphasize age-appropriate academics, social skills, and independence, empowering them with the confidence needed to excel in formal education.
At ages four and five, children have developed the confidence to explore the world and continue growing in independence, self-help, and learning. Our Pre-K program is specifically designed to prepare children for the upcoming school years. We emphasize age-appropriate academics, social skills, and self-help skills, building the confidence necessary for a smooth transition to formal schooling.
Our Pre-K teachers create thoughtfully outlined, structured, and stimulating lessons to engage the children daily. By exposing them to art, music, dance, yoga, hands-on activities, and more, the children in the Pre-K room develop a sense of confidence as they prepare for the next phase of their educational journey.
Whether you opt for our 3-day or 5-day program, rest assured that our experienced and dedicated staff will provide a nurturing and enriching environment for your child's growth. If you have any questions or need further details, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We are here to support you and your child on this wonderful educational journey!
TK Program
(Ages 4 - 6)
Our transitional kindergarten (TK) program is specifically designed for children who miss the cutoff date for traditional kindergarten enrollment but are ready for more structured learning than typical preschool offers. Typically catering to children aged five, TK programs provide a balanced curriculum that emphasizes both academic and social development. In these classrooms, certified early childhood educators create an environment where children can explore early literacy, numeracy, and basic writing skills while still enjoying age-appropriate play and social interactions.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to align with kindergarten standards, ensuring that by the end of the TK year, children are well-prepared for the more rigorous academic expectations of kindergarten. Teachers play a crucial role in assessing each child's progress and tailoring instruction to meet individual needs, fostering an environment where learning is personalized and supportive.
Additionally, parent involvement is highly encouraged, fostering strong communication between teachers and parents to ensure a smooth transition to formal kindergarten classes. Overall, transitional kindergarten programs aim to give children the skills, confidence, and social readiness needed to excel in their academic journey.
